Halle Berry Glams Up the Jenesse Silver Rose Awards Gala

Getting glammed up for a cause in which she earnestly believes in, Halle Berry brought her beautiful self to the 2012 Jenesse Silver Rose Awards gala and auction in Beverly Hills, California on Saturday night (April 14).

With fiance Olivier Martinez additionally on-hand at the Beverly Hills Hotel locale, the Oscar-winning actress helped spearhead the event held in honor of supporters of the organization which provides aid and assistance to victims of domestic abuse.

The Center was founded in 1980 by five African American women who were

survivors of domestic violence - with the initiative having a “mission to supply victims of domestic violence with a comprehensive, centralized base of support to assist them in addressing their instant crisis and changing the patterns of their lives.”

Of the Jenesse Silver Rose Awards gala, Berry recently told additional that the event is “so personal to me considering it’s a way to extricate my own demons by doing something to help others… it’s really fulfilling work.”
